Class Double Stranded DNA (100 points)

Each student will create two complementary Nucleotides of DNA to add to the Class' Double Stranded DNA .


1. The two nucleotides must be joined together between the nitrogenous bases with either a double hydrogen bond for A & T or a triple hydrogen bond between the C & G. (20 points)

2. Use any appropriate symbols to represent the Phophate group, the Deoxyribose sugar, and the two complementary nitrogenous bases. (20 points)

3. One nucleotide should be upright and the other nucleotide should be upside down to represent the difference in the 3' - 5' strand and the 5' to 3' strand of DNA. (20 points)

4. Your first name and initial for your last name should accompany your two nucleotides. (20 points)

5. You must add your nucleotides to the class strand in the correct direction. (20 points)
